Let Me Go - Run/Lucky/Free
How much longer will you leave me, leave me crouching in the dark?
In the chest under the bed lay the secrets of your heart.
Your poems they were written, intended never to be seen,
But boy I found them hidden; did you think I couldn’t read?
Oh love release me from your grasp,
Will you let me go, let me go,
Will you let me go, let me go.
Oh love our time as us has past,
Will you let me go, let me go,
Will you let me go, let me go.
I feel like I’ve been thrown, an anchor tied to my feet,
Sinking to the bottom, no gills for me to breathe.
I hear my heartbeat through my pillow, and it’s keeping me awake,
But when I close my eyes to sleep, I can only see your face.
Oh love release me from your grasp,
Will you let me go, let me go,
Will you let me go, let me go.
Oh love our time as us has past,
Will you let me go, let me go,
Will you let me go, let me go.

Oh love release me from your grasp,
Will you let me go, let me go,
Will you let me go, let me go.
Oh love our time as us has past,
Will you let me go, let me go,
Will you let me go, let me go
Will you let me go, let me go,
Will you let me go, let me go.
Will you let me go, let me go,
Will you let me go, let me go.

Run/Lucky/Free created their music from quaint practice rooms near the River Forth to rehearsal spaces in the heart of the
city of Edinburgh. They moulded diverse influences together to create a style of Indie Pop that would confound standard 4/4 balladry with interesting instrumentation and the occasional odd time signature.
Now gone their separate ways the band lasted from 2009 until 2013....more
