Unicorn
It's kinda nice that the day finally went down,
Love of my life, I said 'Show me around',
Love of my life, we can kiss 'till dawn.
Holding me tight I was the only one for your arms,
it felt so right, tell me, what went wrong?
Love of my life, I cry 'till dawn.
And I see you now but only in my dreams,
and I see your hands but their not touching me.
Like a child caught up between real and imaginary friends, there was no math, no logic, no sequence.
Like life without trees I struggle to breathe.
I feel much more at home on this side of the road,
when it's quiet we'll hum, hmmmm, to fill the void,
like mother of pearl I lay precious and still.
And I see you now but only in my dreams,
and I see your hands but they're not touching me.
If I were a mermaid and you had the soul of a unicorn, we'd heal the world and make sure those feelings were gone, gone, gone.
They'd dance, you'd see, we'd watch them flee ...
Run, run, run, run then glide, spread their wings and fly.
And I see you now, but only in my dreams.
And I see your beautiful hands, but they're not touching me.

Now gone their separate ways the band lasted from 2009 until 2013....more
